On October 15, 2020 the Managing authority of Operational Program Innovation and competitiveness announced the start of public consultation of the procedure for the selection of projects Adapting the business activity of SMEs in the context of COVID-19. The procedure aims to support the SMEs to reorganise and adapt workplaces and/or changes in the business processes and models in order to create health and safety at work conditions in the context of COVID-19.
The procedure’s budget amounts to BGN 78,233,200 (approx. EUR 4,209,568), allocated to various sectors and categories of enterprises. The minimum amount of the requested grant per project is BGN 3,000 (approx. EUR 1,500) and the maximum amount shall be BGN 75,000 (approx. EUR 37,500) depending on the category of enterprise. The aid is designated to the following economic activities: Industry (sectors B, C, D and F), Trade (Sector G) and Services (sectors F, H, I, J, L, M, N, P, Q, R and S). In particular, the grants provided under this procedure cannot exceed a maximum of 10 % of the net sales revenues in case of a micro enterprise, 5 % of the net sales revenues in case of a small enterprise and 2,5 % of net sales revenues in case of a medium-sized enterprise.
